As a Commercial Manager, Canada you will lead the capture strategy, offer development, and contract negotiation process associated with the Canada region within our Long Term Operations Business Unit. You will have accountability for meeting assigned sales targets by growing a sales pipeline committed to meeting company objectives within their assigned product segments. You will report to the Commercial Director. and be located in Burlington. You will have a hybrid working arrangement of 2 - 3 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet financial objectives established for the Business Segment product portfolio including but not limited to Margin As-Sold, Order Entry, and opportunity pipeline growth.
  • Lead opportunity development sales funnel process from identification through offer development and contract closure.
  • Develop / maintain technical and sales related knowledge to support responsible product portfolio needs within assigned business segment. Commercial Manager will be responsible to support technical questions multiple layers deep while able to easily facilitate and guide interactions between the business segments and the customers during the sales process.
  • Lead capture strategy for opportunities including but not limited to identifying bundling opportunities, cross coordination of products to present customer-oriented solutions, and collaborate with Product Management and Account Management to define target price and target costs.
  • Responsible for negotiations with the client until final contract signature, ensuring proper teamwork and alignment with all relevant WEC teammates including Account Managers, Product Management, Legal, Finance, and supporting organizations.
  • Facilitate negotiations with Consortium partner whenever relevant and ensure alignment with all relevant WEC stakeholders.
  • Manage opportunities and data within the customer relationship management tool for associated opportunities.
  • Lead LOA and offer processes in coordination with the Commercial Integration team within Westinghouse including presenting the offer for approval and obtaining buy-in from WEC key stakeholders to ensure offering meets Westinghouse target objectives while meeting Customer needs.
  • Located in proximity to customer base to support sales objectives. Travel to customer locations to facilitate meetings with customers to establish relationships and engagement with product line managers as part of the overall sales process.
  • Perform the responsibilities of the proposal manager by leading the development of strategic CANDU proposals through entire life cycle (pre-RFP through to contract) with a focus on higher dollar, complex offers.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors of Science, or Business Degree
  • 6 years of experience working at or with Nuclear Utilities. Preferred experience with on-site nuclear plant experience in a utility position or customer facing role as a vendor. Experience in a commercial role or technical experience with CANDU reactors or tooling an asset.
  • Commercial experience
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Utility buying processes
  • General knowledge of related Nuclear Plant Operations
  • It is a bona fide job requirement to be eligible and authorized to travel to the U.S. on Westinghouse business, and such travel is subject to the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department of Energy, as well as compliance with all applicable U.S. export laws and regulations.
