Director of Product Management - Fanatics Collectibles
Fanatics Collectibles is building the future of trading cards-and we're scaling fast. Our major licenses today include MLB, EUFA, WWE, UFC; over next 12 months will grow to NFL, NBA, Premier League, and more. To power this global growth, we are investing in a suite of modern, extensible suite of internal platforms that will serve as the digital backbone of our business-streamlining every step from project management, editorial, prepress, QA, auto and relic operations, product design, product development, supply chain, to manufacturing and distribution.
We're looking for a Director of Product Management to lead this charge: shaping the long-term vision and day-to-day execution of our card production platform enabling our teams to build, print, and ship cards at scale.
About the Role
This is a mission-critical leadership role at the intersection of product, technology, and operations. You'll lead a team of PMs and TPMs and collaborate closely with a cross-functional team of 30+ engineers, designers, product ops, and other key stakeholders. Your remit includes defining and executing the strategy, scaling complex workflows, and ensuring that our platform evolves with the pace and scale of our business.
You'll translate operational complexity into scalable platform solutions, foster alignment across disciplines, and help evolve how we plan, execute, and deliver. This role requires strong strategic thinking, excellent product instincts, technical fluency, and exceptional cross-functional leadership.

The salary range for this position is $220,000-$275,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. Responsibilities
- Define and own the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for our internal systems supporting card creation and production-ensuring tight alignment with business priorities and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate tightly with discipline leaders (Directors, VPs) across design, engineering, data, business functions and executive leadership team to ensure full alignment and value delivery across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of PMs and TPMs, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
- Ensure the platform delivers maximum value-continuously optimizing performance and reimagining workflows to unlock efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
- Translate complex operational workflows into scalable, intuitive, and reliable product solutions that power how we create and deliver trading cards.
- Drive platform innovation and reimagine the art of the possible, identifying opportunities to reduce friction, improve time-to-market, and introduce automation and AI where appropriate.
- Serve as the connective tissue between business, operations, and engineering-driving clarity, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment.
- Drive the adoption of agile best practices across the organization, ensuring high delivery velocity, clean sprint execution, and consistent roadmap progress.
- Engage directly with users across editorial, creative, prepress, logistics, and manufacturing teams to surface needs, validate solutions, and close feedback loops.
- Be a visible and influential thought partner to senior leaders-navigating technical trade-offs, shaping investment decisions, and advocating for what matters most.
- Create and maintain a metrics-driven culture, ensuring decisions are grounded in data and user insights.
- Champion user-centric design and development, setting a high bar for UX and usability across internal tools.
- Maintain a strong product-operating rhythm, anchoring planning and prioritization in measurable outcomes, user feedback, and business impact.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of product management experience, including 3-5+ years in a senior product leadership role (Director or equivalent) with direct people management responsibility.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling complex enterprise software, internal platforms, or operational tooling-especially in industries with complex supply chains, manufacturing, or content production.
- Proven success managing teams through scale, complexity, and ambiguity.
- Strong technical fluency and an ability to partner effectively with leaders across engineering, data science, and analytics.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships at the executive level, with a track record of influencing strategic outcomes.
- Executive presence and excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-with the ability to clearly and confidently engage at the C-suite level.
- Experience leading through growth, ambiguity, and change - particularly in organizations undergoing digital transformation or platform modernization.
- Experience identifying and implementing AI and automation solutions across product portfolios to improve workflows, productivity, and business outcomes.
- Passion for trading cards, collectibles, or fandom-or a demonstrated eagerness to become a world-class expert in this space. Deep curiosity and commitment to mastering this domain is essential.
- Some travel required due to the complexity of our global business and physical operations (both domestic and international)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
