Position Description:
We're seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. You'll work across the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with solution architects, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing emerging solutions, creating prototypes, and integrating AI technologies within cloud environments.
This position is located in our Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree plus 2-6+ years of experience. In addition:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software applications using a variety of technologies
Work on both client-side and server-side development tasks
Package and deploy applications using containerization technologies
Collaborate with the prototyping team to design and develop scalable solutions
Implement front-end and back-end development tasks for web applications
Work across a myriad of technology stacks in Azure, AWS, and GCP
Ensure seamless functionality and user experience across platforms
Ensure best practices and patterns are being implemented for Ai & analytic solutions
Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
Stay current on cutting-edge AI techniques
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in AI integration and full stack development
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proven experience coding in Java and Python (experience in additional languages a plus)
Experience with core data science libraries in Python
Familiarity with package managers and test frameworks
Knowledge of Python web frameworks like Flask or Django a plus
Proficiency with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gitlab)
Knowledge or experience in DevOps support and deployment including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CICD is highly desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal & written communication skills
Experience in designing and integrating AI/GenAI with other products
Understanding of generative AI models and experience in utilizing them
Ability to work independently as well as part of an agile team (Scrum / Kanban)
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
Strong back-end development skills with proficiency in languages like Node.js, Python, or Java
Experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP, Azure and AWS
Knowledge of AI technologies and their integration into web applications
Familiarity with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
US citizenship is required and must be clearable
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
