Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Segment Manager, the Treasury Payment Services Segment Manager is a dynamic, strategic and experienced marketing professional responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive business growth for assigned business segment. As a key relationship owner between the Treasury Payment Services (TPS) business line and the WCIB Marketing team, the Segment Manager is accountable for supporting the goals and needs of the business through effective and engaging marketing campaigns and strategies, leveraging content, events and sponsorships, social media and digital platforms to raise visibility and drive growth.

This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to navigate a matrixed team of peers through the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of marketing. The Segment Manager is experienced at campaign management, capable of seeing the big picture while maintaining attention to detail, closely manages timelines, and thrives in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted marketing plans to build and strengthen relationships with clients and prospects through partnership with various business leaders and WCIB Marketing team in the development, execution, and ongoing management of integrated, multi-channel marketing and sales enablement strategies that drives significant financial impact for Treasury Payment Services (TPS).
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of segment strategies, goals, products and services, and major initiatives.
    Build strong, trusted relationships with Business and Sales leaders
  • Manage pipeline of events and sponsorships and develop annual conference strategy in alignment with priorities.
  • Distribute investment insights based on current themes and opportunities; amplify thought leadership through various marketing platforms (e.g. web, video, social media, etc.).
  • Build presentations to provide strategic POV, articulate compelling positioning and ideas, and accelerate decision making.
  • Ensure proactive, timely and consistent updates and engagement with business leads and managing to updates and any change in priorities.
  • Work with analytics partners to develop reporting dashboards that include a hierarchy of metrics, from tactical to strategic, to meet the varying performance measurement needs of internal audiences.


Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to create strategic marketing plans, including go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging tailored to complex, highly regulated industries
  • Broad marketing communications experience including advertising, direct, digital and public relations. Ad agency or consulting experience a plus.
  • Enthusiastic about B2B marketing, with the goal of producing the highest quality end-result
  • Outstanding account management, project management and Power Point skills
  • Proactive self-starter, resourceful and creative
  • Exceptional work ethic, positive attitude and collaborative team-oriented disposition
  • Resourceful, solutions-oriented problem-solver
  • Detail-oriented, excellent communication and writing skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and tasks and manage competing expectations
  • Ability and desire to work well within and across team


The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00 - $154,990.00
