This is not a teleworking position. It is onsite, 5 days/week.

S3, Inc. is seeking a Lead Recruiter to coordinate the activities of the corporate recruiting team in support of growth for both contract and business operations staffing requirements for S3 and its subsidiaries. The position requires a BS degree and 12 years of directly related experience in recruiting for technical DoD contract requirements-the position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer within the Corporate Business Operations. The Lead Recruiter will be located at our corporate HQ in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

Description:

The Lead Recruiter will primarily recruit senior corporate roles, but will also be accountable for building and maintaining an engaged recruiting team. Key areas of accountability include managing recruitment activities for both CONUS and OCONUS positions. Recruiters use the TALEO Applicant Tracking System. Recruiters address aviation and missile technical requirements across numerous DoD contract requirements.

Clearance Requirement: A Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience as an HR Recruiter in a DoD environment. Requires a minimum of 12 years of directly related experience. Excellent verbal and written skills are required to support communications and documentation, both internal and external.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for a wide variety of data input assignments that may be confidential.
  • Develop and validate position requirements of the position in the Applicant Tracking System, TALEO, to include tracking and reporting the status of hires to hiring managers in compliance with quality metrics.
  • Develop, apply, and monitor recruiting metrics, recommend and gain corporate approval, and implement continuous improvement to the recruiting process to attain time-to-fill goals.
  • Ensure that files, records, certificates, and/or other documents are established, maintained, and processed IAW corporate policies.
  • Ensure that interviewers/interviewees are scheduled, provided documents as required, and routine scheduling conflicts are resolved.
  • Screen resumes, perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates, negotiate job offers, and promote job openings and the organization through various hiring channels.
  • Direct the tasks of the hiring process, including job offers, drug testing, background checks, licensures, education, required specific training, and verification of all pre-employment paperwork.
  • Manage the daily activities, KPI's, for both weekly and monthly objectives of the team.
  • Create and execute strategies for the recruitment process.
  • Create and promote messaging that attracts desired candidates and resources for active and passive candidates through internal and external sources.

Required Skills:
  • Experience coordinating staffing requirements with Hiring Managers (HM) to complete requisition documentation.
  • Experience with ISO/AS9100 or similar Quality Management System.
  • Demonstrate a 12-year directly related history of managing and performing recruiting tasks for DoD contracts.
  • Experience in monitoring quality control performance to metrics.
  • Experience developing requisition forms, senior management and customer correspondence, employment forms, recruiting documents, requisitions, resumes, interview reports, and applications.
  • Experience managing a DoD contract-driven recruiting team.
