This role is responsible for delivering quarterly sales results for the NPWT business nationally. The incumbent will own the outcome by developing sales goals, monitoring results achieved, and initiating proactive plans to address business challenges. The will also set business strategy for the US Incision Care business and implement business plans.
You'll make significant contributions in the following areas:
Attainment of NPWT salesrevenue, margin, and EBITA target
Partner with the VP, US Wound Care Sales & Marketing in developing and overseeing business strategy, implementation of objectives, compensation plans, and other programs to drive efficient and profitable sales of the Incision Care product line
Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals by region, key account, and market segment, analyzes sales data to evaluate results achieved, and initiates appropriate recognition and corrective actions to ensure achievement of sales targets
Manage and direct activities of Region Managers to achieve short and long-range objectives for market share, distribution, and sales nationally.
Manage and ensure efficient use of company resources by selecting region trade shows and functions that will maintain necessary account contacts and promote business; approve regional trade show arrangements, expenditures, and attendance by sales staff
Ensure appropriate sales, product and leadership training is executed and meets evolving customer and industry trends
Develop and manage relationships with cross functional teams (SAHE, Sales Training, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Legal, HR, Ops, Regulatory) to achieve annual and long-term business objectives
Remain knowledgeable of market developments and industry trends, competitors, and leading customerstrategies
Proactively attract, develop and retain talent in orderto meet current and future business needs
Effectively manage team and individual performance challengesthrough channels of training, coaching and corrective action
What you'll get
What you'll need.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field from an accredited college/university; Master's degree preferred
Over 10 years in business-to-business sales, with at least 5 years of experience in sales management, (managing managers preferred).
Experience in medical device strongly preferred, with experience in translating both clinical and economic evidence for outcomes-based selling and coaching of teams
Potential: Successful candidate must be seen as viable pipeline to Vice President, US Wound Care Sales & Marketing role
