We are looking for a Revenue and Quota Sales Planning Lead to drive the annual planning and in-year management of the global sales targets for AWS Global Sales (AGS). In this role, you'll be instrumental in setting and distributing revenue targets, managing quota allocation, and ensuring alignment between financial goals and sales execution. You will serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights that shape our sales planning decisions and drive business growth. This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our global sales strategy while working with cross-functional teams across one of the world's leading cloud computing companies.

Key job responsibilities
\tLead the annual revenue and quota planning processes in collaboration with regional sales operations teams
\tPartner with Finance and Sales leadership to establish revenue and quota targets
\tStandardize and simplify sales quota strategies across multiple sales regions that align with company revenue objectives and market opportunities
\tPartner with Sales Planning Tools and Policy teams to build and implement technical solutions that reduce the effort required to set effective and accurate quotas at a territory and account level
\tAnalyze historical performance data and market trends to develop data-driven recommendations for quota setting and territory planning
\tServe as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on revenue planning methodologies and industry best practices
\tDevelop and maintain scalable processes for tracking and reporting key quota management metrics
\tDrive efficiency in the management of in-year revenue changes related to account movements, mergers, and acquisitions

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience

- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

- Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
