Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Ecosystem Data Architect to join our Customer Services team. As a Services Ecosystem Data Architect, your key objective is to define a data strategy for the digital services platform to drive business growth and secure a long-term competitive advantage for Airbus.
Meet the Team:
The Customer Services and Support team provides aircraft operations support throughout the aircraft's operational life. The team coordinates, implements and monitors all services customized to meet the customer's specific needs, to ensure a positive customer relationship. Our Field Service teams provide technical support so our customers can operate safely and efficiently. Being based at our customers' facilities enables us to have a strong customer relationship and understanding of the airline's technical and operational needs.

Your Challenges:
- Definition and execution of Data Strategy for the Connected Aircraft Program
- Identification, structuring and valuation of data sets underpinning new value propositions
- Definition and implementation of Data Governance frameworks with internal and external partners describing how data can be accessed, used, shared or modified.
- Definition of requirements for the data architecture and giving recommendations for their implementation
- Formulation of data related business needs to be reflected in licensing agreements handled by the Customer Contracts Team

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data modeling, database design, SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, big data technologies (e.g. Spark), programming languages (Python, Java), and cloud platforms (AWS and GCP)
- Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and predictive analytics
- Data Governance: Knowledge of data security, quality management, metadata management, and compliance standards
- Data Usage Rights & Licensing: track record in dealing with permissions and restrictions governing how data can be accessed, used, shared, or modified. Familiarity with terms of Data Licensing Agreements.
- Soft Skills: Business mind-set, Customer focus, project management, communication skills, stakeholder management, problem-solving, adaptability to fast changing environment and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals
