Job Description
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join a team for a high profile multi-billion dollar infrastructure project and will require on-site presence. You will be part of a Joint Venture (JV) and will oversee a team of inspectors and field personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction engineering, particularly in the management of excavated materials, environmental compliance, and waste management in tunnel construction projects.
Responsibilities
This position is part of a high profile multi-billion dollar infrastructure project and will require on-site presence. You will be part of a Joint Venture (JV) and will oversee a team of inspectors and field personnel. The role offers opportunities for growth within the group and the company. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $258000.00 - $258000.00/yr.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of tunnel excavation, including the removal of rock and soil from drilling and blasting operations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards throughout the project.
- Develop and implement effective spoil management plans to handle, transport, and dispose of excavation materials.
- Monitor excavation activities and spoil stockpiles, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste generation.
- Supervise spoil handling operations, including loading, hauling, and off-site disposal activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of spoil management facilities, transportation routes, and disposal sites to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and haulage contractors to coordinate spoil removal schedules and ensure timely disposal.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for regulatory compliance and material tracking.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer license in New York or New Jersey
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction engineering, with a focus on excavated materials, environmental compliance, or waste management in tunnel construction projects.
- Proficiency in soil classification methods.
- Experience in construction and construction oversight.
- Experience with geotechnical oversight, including drilling and blasting.
