About the team and the role:

The Senior Product Manager will be the consummate voice of the customer, responsible for driving the global P&A vision and strategy, collaborating with engineering teams and delivering on a P&A category specific product roadmap. This includes working closely with engineering & design leaders, business units, marketing and other teams at eBay. This is an individual contributor role expected to drive execution of multiple product initiatives for the P&A category in a matrix organization.

What you will accomplish:
  • Lead our product strategy and execution for one or more P&A category initiatives
  • Build and implement a compelling roadmap supporting our P&A marketplace business growth goals
  • Collaborate with researchers, analysts, designers and engineers charged with improving eBay Motors P&A category experiences
  • Be accountable for the articulation and the execution of the product strategy. Communicate team status and priorities to executives, partner teams, and the wider product team
  • Innovate and reinforce the field of our engineering operations, from sprint reviews to definition of done. Drive a culture of quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability


What you will bring:
  • 7+ years as a technical product manager, with significant time and success in large scale enterprise, ideally eCommerce or marketplace company
  • Experience in e-commerce delivering both buying and selling experiences
  • Successful track record leading product development in shopping experience
  • Experience in successfully leading multiple projects from concept to delivery while meeting schedules and budget.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirable
  • Proficiency in data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau
  • Think and work independently, demonstrate creativity and ability to deliver impactful results. Comfortable sorting through ambiguity in order to drive practical customer and business impact
  • Experience in vehicle-related commerce and/or familiarity with the parts industry selling and buying standards and terminology is a plus


The applicable base pay range for this position is dependent on work location. The base pay range in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro and Seattle Metro is expected in the range below:
$178,400 - $238,200

The base pay range for all other U.S. work locations is expected in the range below:
$124,000 - $208,300

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
