About ProPath:
ProPath is a nationwide, physician led, established and successful anatomic and clinical pathology group and member of Sonic Healthcare USA. We are seeking an enthusiastic AP/CP boarded or board eligible surgical pathologist to join our hospital-based practice at Texas Health Hurst-Euless-Bedford and Texas Health Southlake, together having 319 beds, located in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The culture of medical leadership is the foundation for all that we do and the secret of our success over the last 55-plus years. The ProPath practice alone has over 50 physicians and nearly 550 team members while Sonic Healthcare USA has over 300 physicians and nearly 8,000 team members. This is the largest physician led pathology practice in the country.
This practice consists predominantly of general surgical pathology, including breast and gynecologic pathology, as well as non-gyn cytology. It is important to note that autopsies are not performed here. Additional training or experience in hematopathology, breast pathology, gynecologic pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, or cytology is desirable but not required. Experience in radiology-assisted adequacy assessments is a plus.
Candidates must possess a medical degree and be able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of Texas. Fellowship training or prior sign out experience is expected. The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and be a team player. Salary commensurate with background and experience.
