Job Description
In this role you will be a key member of the IT Applications area responsible for leading the planning, designing, developing, testing and deployment of efficient solutions related to Oracle Cloud EBS R12 and other integrated Finance applications, to satisfy strategic, financial, and operations needs of the organization. This will include performance, security and operational considerations in support of given initiatives. This role will serve as an internal applications/Finance business process "SME/Consultant" working with related business teams to identify and prioritize process and system opportunities and architect end to end solutions with robust technical and Finance functional design related to ERP platform. This role will assist in executing the vision for world class Finance operations and systems as part of the overall Finance and Digital Transformation initiatives based on the guidance from Director, Finance Transformation & ERP Platforms.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $110,000 USD - $140,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.

Job Description

- Lead financials related functional and technical design, configuration, development and support for continuous improvements within Oracle Cloud ERP (and/or Oracle EBS R12) globally specifically Finance, Costing, Project modules.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and architectural principles to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end users.
- Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure, security, systems technical development and functional configuration, and where possible, make recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to design sessions in prototyping new systems for enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow across the ERP platform.
- Prepare system and process end to end architecture designs, business process flows, integration requirements, and specification documents.
- Conduct training on Oracle Cloud ERP functionality or Finance business processes.
- Lead monthly agile sprints for Finance enhancements based on business priority and resource capacity.
- Partner with application support vendors to develop data extracts, BIP reports in the cloud based on functional specifications and technical architecture designs.
- Foster strong communication between business users and application developers to understand key issues, identify perception gaps, and resolve questions.
- Ensure operational continuity of business especially adhering to time sensitivity around Finance period end processes.
- Adhere to existing change management and service management policies and procedures.
- Manage small scale project schedules, track progress while providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-year bachelor's degree in IT/IS/related discipline from an accredited institution in the U.S. or a comparable foreign university.
- 5+ years of hands-on techno-functional experience implementing Oracle EBS R12 applications. (full lifecycle implementations, statutory and regulatory requirements)
- In-depth understanding of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report business processes with strong Finance domain expertise.
- Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex business problems, clearly communicate findings of analysis, and recommend solutions that address business challenges and project requirements.
- Establish documentation standards, procedures and guidelines and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong project management and agile scrum process skills.
- Equipped with strong SQL skills and ability to write and read complex database queries.
- Strong communication (written and oral), analytical and computer skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer & business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements and technology solutions.
- Experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud - Financial Applications in various geographies around the globe that meet local regulatory requirements along with quarterly cloud updates.
- Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud experience is preferable.
- Knowledge of ITIL platforms and process areas such as ServiceNow will be good to have.
