Objective:

We are searching for an individual to fill the position of Director of International Finance. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer of Rogue and is critical to our global expansion. Our goal is to find the right person that understands our market, is an avid user of our equipment and wants to drive the business forward.

The expectations will be high as the landscape of responsibilities will include dialing in our financial structure, currency exchange plans, and setting the foundations for the next stage of our global expansion.

The qualified individual will ultimately live in Europe after spending 1-2 years at Rogue HQ where they will acclimate to Rogue's culture, philosophy, processes and business objectives. Rogue will assist with applicable work authorization and/or visa requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Experience with international trade including tax, currency exchange, export/import tariffs, etc.
  • Manage all international accounting and finance functions.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop, implement, improve, and execute accounting processes and systems, with a specific focus on simplifying our current processes and establishing proper accountability across all teams.
  • Coordinate all quarterly and year end financial reporting with subsidiary internal and external accountants.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for international accounting and conversion to US reporting.
  • Optimize foreign currency transactions impacting all financial areas including purchasing and investing.
  • Assist with tax structures, requirements and implications related to doing business in various countries.
  • Maintain an expert level understanding of foreign currency exchange and management.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, MBA or CPA required with International Business Degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of financial accounting experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Willingness and eligibility to travel between the United States and other countries is required.
  • Permanent relocation to Europe after onboarding at Rogue HQ. Rogue will assist with applicable work authorization and/or visa requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience with developing and leading a high performing team.
  • Ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment, while demonstrating strong management, team-building, business-partnering, and prioritization skills.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
