About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager supporting and owning product solutions through the product life cycle. This will be from conception to strategy, go-to market onto to launch, post launch and then to monitoring and ongoing maintenance. This will consist of the entire lifecycle.

In this role, you will:
  • Foster a strong agile discipline that inspires teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics
  • Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer
  • Oversee overall product management and strategic focus for the most technical, complex and diverse payment products and services
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
  • Provide support in executing the product owner and overall team's vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are strategically focused for diverse product lines
  • Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating, upgrading technologies and vendor relationships
  • Engage with Sales Segment Leaders, Clients, and other stakeholders to understand customer/prospects needs
  • Understand the competitive landscape, emerging capabilities, existing pain points, etc. to inform the strategy
  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, product owners, vendors, project managers and delivery team companywide
  • Develop and maintain strategic product roadmaps
  • Work closely with Sales Support/Marketing to develop go-to-market strategy and ongoing client communication
  • Provide product expertise on client calls and partner calls as needed to represent our capabilities and/or understand client needs


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts into clear, consumable, implications, actions, and decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels
  • Exceptional problem solving abilities
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results
  • Use of agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • 5+ years of Merchant Services experience
  • Extensive experience in the payments space such as POS terminals, payment gateways, tokenization solutions, virtual terminals, B2B payments, integration tools, middleware or other CP/CNP payment related solutions or value-added services
  • Relevant payments experience ideally at an acquirer, merchant service provider, gateway, or point-of-sale company
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Experience in using Jira and Confluence to track, prioritize and deliver initiatives
  • Ability to remain focused on value driven initiatives and ability to say no to less value requests
  • Excellent verbal, written, collaborative, and interpersonal communication skills with proficiency in building presentations and communications, with ability to simplify complex problems, design, or build strategy
  • Demonstrated track record of working effectively in a team environment, across all organizational levels, and building superior partnerships with a broad set of partners with other business and functional areas
  • Strong project management and research skills
  • Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, collaboration, and mentoring
