Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a full time Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Riverside Smithfield Hospital in Smithfield, Virginia.
In this role, you will be specializing in internal medicine and being certified in hospital medicine. You will confine your practice within a hospital setting and specialize in medical issues that are relevant to your field of study. The hospitalist group is responsible for taking over the in-hospital care for our patients. You will consult health records and diagnosis taken by the patient's primary care physician. You will serve as the sole provider during the patient's hospital stay while coordinating their care.

Support 7on/7off schedule with the ability to create flexible schedule with mutual agreement. Diverse collaborative team EMR - Epic that links all our outpatient and inpatient facilities as well as our other local hospitals in the area.

Education/Qualification:
- Doctoral Degree MD/DO, Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine or Equivalent Foreign Diploma
Training:
- Internal Medicine Residency from ACGME accredited training program
- Family Medicine Residency with minimum 3 years of experience as Hospitalist
- Family Medicine Residency with Hospital Medicine Fellowship
Certification(s) and License(s):
- Eligible for/Current VA Medical License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (if within 3 years of completing residency) by ABIM/ABFM
- Current DEA
