Job Description
The Electrical/Controls Engineer will be responsible for configuring functionality within the Ignition/Sepasoft framework to support OEE, Track and Trace, SPC, Recipes, and integrations to our ERP system. You will be partnering with various resources within the plant and our home office location to put together functional requirements and detailed designs. Collaboration with controls engineering resources will also be key to implementing logic that supports the desired MES functions. This role will also be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and other ways of presenting information to our plant leadership.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Configure functionality within the Ignition/Sepasoft framework to support OEE, Track and Trace, SPC, Recipes, and ERP system integrations.
- Collaborate with plant and home office resources to develop functional requirements and detailed designs.
- Work with controls engineering resources to implement logic supporting MES functions.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and other information presentation methods for plant leadership.
- Experience in MES development and programming.
- Technical writing and documentation skills.
- Experience with application configuration and development.
- Proficiency in Sepasoft MES Suite, Manufacturing, Statistical Analysis, application, MSSQL, VB, Python, HTML, and PLC Logic.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of MES development including programming, hardware configuration, and software conceptual design (Sepasoft MES Suite preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL servers, SSRS, RSView, Rockwell Automation software, iFix, and Ignition.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and build relationships with cross-functional groups.
- Desire to quickly learn new technologies and identify new technological opportunities/solutions.
- Technical writing and documentation skills.
- Experience with statistical analysis and a desire to learn.
- Ability to travel up to 5% (within and outside of the US).
