Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an talented Lead Construction Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee the construction of Terminal 5 (T5) at LAX on behalf of our client the Los Angeles World Airports.
The T5 program covers the full demolition and rebuild of the headhouse and concourse, as well as various enabling scopes to vacate the existing building. The selected candidate will report to the T5 Program Delivery Director and is ultimately responsible for managing and coordinating construction activities of the Design/Builder. You will act as the primary liaison for pre-construction and construction activities, including leading the safety, security and quality for the program.

Salary Range: $128,700.00 - $231,700.00

What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensure the development and implementation of design, construction, testing, commissioning, turnover plans, impacts to the operations, ensuring that risk mitigation for construction activities are optimized, working and coordinating with stakeholders to client specifications.
- Plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction projects and/or project packages from start to finish.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables, often in conjunction with other specialists.
- Interpret and explain contracts, requirements and technical information to other professionals.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers and other construction specialists.
- Monitor projects and report progress and budget matters.
- Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems with the project. Ensure that the project complies with legal requirements, such building and safety codes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional licensure and/or certifications
- 20 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects and large complex multi-year projects
- Experience managing a team of construction managers
- Experience with projects more than $500 million in value
- Experience with various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design+CMAR and Design/Build
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred
