As an integral part of the Archer Global Bids and Proposals team the successful candidate shall support our international salesforce by applying corporate processes, tools and services to the management and production of high-quality proposals to a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities:
- Project manage the lifecycle of RFPs from receipt through to final response submission.
- Review RFPs and identify potential win themes, bid strategies etc.
- Arrange and lead bid/no bid review meetings.
- Manage a virtual team of proposal contributors and authors to ensure that client defined timescales are met.
- Allocate author assignments to proposal team, schedule calendar milestones and check-point calls as needed.
- Contribute to answering Corporate, Support and Legal questions.
- Guide proposal authors and edit their contributions to ensure that every aspect of the proposal document differentiates Archer from its competitors. tells a compelling story and is a pleasure to read.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years in a bid/proposal manager role, project managing multi-function virtual teams to respond to RFPs RFQs etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels is essential:
- Verbally
- In presentations and orals
- In writing with an excellent command of English
- Self-motivation and initiative.
- Excellent organizing skills.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Time management - ability to work in various time zones and to prioritize and manage tasks in relation to multiple RFP timelines.
- Positive "can do" attitude coupled with a flexible approach.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office suite and online applications such as Responsive (formerly RFPio), Salesforce etc.
- APMP certification to at least Foundation level would be advantageous.
- Command of French and Spanish languages would be useful but not essential.
