Job Summary:
Porsche of Brooklyn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician with a strong background in German car service to join our team. As a Porsche Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on Porsche vehicles with the highest quality and attention to detail. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Brooklyn, New York, with a salary range of $80,000 to $175,000 per year.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Porsche vehicles
Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify and troubleshoot problems
Perform warranty repairs and recalls as directed by Porsche of Brooklyn and manufacturer's guidelines
Keep up-to-date with latest technology and training to maintain expertise in Porsche vehicles
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for future maintenance
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience as a technician in a similar role, preferably with German car brands
ASE certifications or Porsche specific training is a plus
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Must have own tools and possess a valid driver's license
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
Willingness to work varying shifts and overtime as needed
