We are hiring a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse!

Position Summary:

This role involves providing clinically competent, coordinated care that respects each client's dignity, autonomy, and independent decision-making. It includes completing timely and accurate documentation, incorporating comprehensive, age-appropriate assessments that address biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and educational needs to support holistic and individualized client care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To competently and clinically coordinate and provide client care in a manner that respects the client's dignity, autonomy, and independent decision-making.
  • To initiate and/or complete required documentation in a timely, systematic, accurate form; to include age-related assessment of biophysical, psycho-social, environmental, self-care, age-specific, and educational factors
  • To participate actively in the quality improvement process and incorporate quality improvement findings into clinical proactive and coordination of client care in the department. To also be involved in any administrative meetings as a representative of the medical staff.
  • To develop/initiate or assist in developing/initiating the treatment plan for each assigned client within appropriate timeframes, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Education Level - Master of Science in Nursing
  • Years of Experience - Five or more years' experience as a clinical nurse specialist; experience working with chronically mentally ill populations required
  • Licensing - Current DEA Controlled Substance Registration; current Controlled Substance Registration within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; current certification as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Certification.

    Skills/Abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; computer skills; good customer relations skills; knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession.

Preferred:
  • Experience or desire to work with pediatric patients and bilingual (Spanish/English) ability a plus.

Summary of Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $90.00 - $100.00 / hour

Based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications
