As part of this, we invest a significant proportion of our revenue towards research and development to drive and develop groundbreaking innovations for structural heart and heart failure disease. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Advanced Technology PMO as a Technical Project Manager of both Edwards Centers of Excellence (CoE) and AT Products. In this role you will optimize how the CoE's manage portfolios and budget and help with AT PMO continuous improvement.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Lead and optimize CoE portfolio management processes between R&D SVPs, R&D LT and the CoE Leads to vet out project financials, milestone achievements, and allocating resources for TRL projects
  • Manage the CoE Strat, AOP, and KOD process
  • Lead one or more continuous improvement project within the CoEs, R&D or AT PMO
  • Maintain AT PMO processes and templates, partnering with the AT Product PMO leadership
  • Support the creation of materials for R&D LT


What you'll need (Required):
  • Bachelor's of science in engineering or technical field of study with 8+ years of experience, including Product Development project management OR
  • Master's of science in engineering or technical field of study with 6+ years of experience, including Product Development project management
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment in executing large scale projects.
  • On-site required


What else we look for (Preferred):
  • Medical Device experience is preferred; medical device or regulated industry project management experience is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing or Biomedical Engineering is highly preferred.
  • Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
  • A can-do attitude, work with urgency and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • High motivation, drive, and the ability to tackle challenging technical problems independently with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with strong ability to communicate data and decisions.
  • Understand statistical tools and their use in engineering problem solving & decision making. Six Sigma training.
  • Able to lead and manage engineering and new implementation projects
  • Effective communication, listening, and diagnostic skills, verbal and written, are necessary.
  • The demonstration of effective collaboration and influencing skills will be key so that the candidate can achieve results within the cross functional team and with stakeholders around the company.
  • Proven expertise in IT platforms, preferably Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing systems (PLM, Windchill), and CAD experience.

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $167,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
