As an Advisor, Growth Strategy, Commercial Lines Division (Direct Insurance), you help develop plans and business intelligence; monitor business plans and performance; set targets; identify opportunities to improve service delivery; and design and deliver business strategies and solutions aligned with the business architecture of various initiatives, including the organizational transformation and shift. You advise and assist clients and partners as part of intervention and development initiatives. You recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization's objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. Within the newly created Growth team in Direct Commercial Lines Insurance, you will contribute to various growth strategies to drive sustainable expansion of the direct commercial lines division by supporting market research and data-driven assessments to help influence orientations, recommendations and growth action plans. - Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes
- Develop and help implement objectives, solutions and action plans
- Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports
- Support the various diagnostic and business case analysis in identifying potential issues, challenges, needs, and problems to be solved
- Contribute to the preparation of strategic presentations and business cases
- Support the collaboration of various stakeholders (DP-VP level) to execute growth initiatives
- Conduct targeted market research to identify trends, client needs, and competitive landscape
- Contribute to the collective success of the team by offering support where needed
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and testing new ideas to find effective growth solutions.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a strategic role
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Leadership experience, through a management role and/or larger project management
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Intermediate knowledge of internal Desjardins and DGIG ecosystem, including required partners to drive growth of the division is a must
- Intermediate proficiency building board-level strategic presentations
- Intermediate proficiency working with ambiguity
- Available for travel occasionally between offices (4-6 times / year)
