Position Overview

As a Business Technology (BT) Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that connect our cloud and on-premises systems. Working closely with Commercial, Applications, and Analytics teams, you'll ensure seamless data flow and secure, reliable system communication. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking. You'll support system performance by addressing integration issues with urgency, enhance existing functionality, and deliver scalable solutions that meet evolving business needs. You'll also play a key role in change management and the adoption of new technologies, driving improvements in integration architecture, agile innovation, and enterprise-wide scalability. Your work will directly contribute to Diligent's growth by enabling efficient data exchange, optimizing processes, and supporting smarter decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with teams across Finance, People, Sales, Product, Engineering, and others to support cross-functional integration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and BT teams to gather integration requirements and understand business processes.
  • Design and implement scalable integration solutions connecting cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premises applications using modern platforms like Dell Boomi.
  • Build and maintain integrations involving systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, and custom APIs.
  • Leverage Dell Boomi tools including AtomSphere, Boomi Flow, and API Management for end-to-end integration design and execution.
  • Perform complex data mapping and transformation using JSON, XML, and CSV via Boomi's Map and Data Process functions.
  • Develop custom scripts using JavaScript, Groovy, or similar languages to enhance integration logic.
  • Design and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs within integration workflows.
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure stable and transparent integration operations.
  • Execute system and integration testing to ensure performance, reliability, and data accuracy across systems.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in integration, cloud architecture (AWS), and industry standards.
  • Contribute to data analytics initiatives by enabling accurate, clean data flow and supporting AI-driven insights.
  • Ensure secure data exchange by following best practices for data collection, storage, and transmission.
  • Maintain clear documentation for integration processes, configurations, and deployment procedures.

Required Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Boomi Integration certification and hands-on experience with the Boomi Integration Platform, including AtomSphere and API Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in integration development, with a strong track record of delivering scalable cloud and on-premises integration solutions.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying at least five end-to-end complex integration processes.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies and protocols, including RESTful APIs, SOAP services, XML, JSON, and standard integration patterns.
  • Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or similar languages used in custom integration logic.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle HRMS, Workday, or similar SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of common business processes and transactional data flows across systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and familiarity with cloud-native architecture.
  • Experienced in Boomi Molecules within AWS, including the execution and optimization of integration components in such an environment.
  • Experience working with Boomi MDM and Data ETL processes is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and AI/ML technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage tasks independently and drive results.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in learning new technologies and staying current with integration and data trends.


Pay Range

$75,000-$93,000 CAD
