Supports all internal sales efforts for I&R accounts, including hiring/firing authority or recommendation authority; coaching; supervising; training and motivating the internal wholesaling team for I&R Sales Desk. Guide problem resolution when sales staff has difficulty resolving through standard procedures and foster sales and service environment to assure customer satisfaction and company goals are met.

Working Conditions
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $142,000-$204,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company's discretion.
This position is also currently eligible for sales and/or performance incentives. Specifics will be reflected in individual incentive plan documents

Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with the Vice President, Sales Desk and utilize a direct reporting relationship to accomplish I&R missions.
- Supervise and support a team of individuals to productively work together to effectively provide sales and service to the company's sales representatives.
- Prepare and deliver annual written performance reviews for each of the team members utilizing performance appraisal system.
- Maintain an appropriate staffing level while promoting and sustaining a positive and respectful work environment.
- Responsible to take an active role in pursuing personal and professional development opportunities to ensure they have the expertise necessary to provide ongoing development of the internal wholesaler team.
- Effectively communicate with partners in other locations in regard to sales and service issues (e.g. grant and communicate exceptions, facilitate and communicate procedural changes, etc.)
- Assist in ascertaining critical training and development needs for the internal wholesaling team
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience in internal wholesaling with Transamerica product lines preferred.
- Active Life Insurance License and Securities License
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree;
- Tool experience: Excel (expert), PowerPoint (expert), WebTrends/Google Analtyics (Intermediate), HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot (Intermediate) or like systems, Adobe Suite, SalesForce (Intermediate) and CMS platforms
Working Conditions
- Less than 10% travel required.
