Job Summary
We are looking for an expert to use their knowledge and experience of dairy Technology to deliver on projects. In this position, you will manage all aspects of upgrades to dairy equipment including quotations and project plans and have overall responsibility and accountability both internally and externally for project success in the US & Canada.
If you have experience in the dairy industry and the ability to take a cross-discipline approach to understanding the complexities of the projects along with an ability to communicate effectively we are looking forward to receiving your application.
The position can be based in Vernon Hills, IL, Denton, TX or Winsted, MN.
You will be travelling up to 25% of your time to our customer sites.
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States.

Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.
Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $83,700.00 - $107,600.00.
Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.

What you will do
As an Upgrades Project Manager, you will:
- Lead scope definition and break down, planning and controlling of the project's budget and result.
- Lead and manage contractual agreements with suppliers.
- Lead identification and management of project scope changes.
- Lead identification, planning and controlling of project risks and opportunities.
- Lead stakeholder management including communication and reporting on project progress and KPI's to stakeholders, internally as well as externally.
- Lead use of global processes, tools, applications, guidelines, and templates.
- Create and lead the project organization, define roles and responsibilities, and coordinate the project team to facilitate cooperation and team efficiency. Participate in the development of competence and capability of the project team.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, share best practice.
- Produce quotations and proposals for customers alongside the key account team.
We believe you have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar discipline; or equivalent skills and experience is a must.
- Experience with dairy technology.
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience.
- Experience in projects related with evaporators and dryers, as well as cheese is desired.
- Experience with dairy equipment commissioning a plus.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Negotiations skills and capability to work across boundaries.
- Capability in driving and delivering results.
- Experience with budgeting, fiscal management, quotations, proposals and project planning.
- Great knowledge of Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project; SAP; Basic AutoCad skills.
- Project Management Professional Certification is beneficial.
