Job Description
Manage overall treatment plan for unassigned hospital patients and coordinate provision of care by other medical/surgical specialists as needed through the referral of patients to medical specialists, social services or other professionals as appropriate. Serve as liaison with family and other physicians/programs. Ensure patient's primary care physician is kept informed of medical condition/treatment throughout hospital stay.
Qualifications
MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent. Eligible for Wisconsin medical license. BE/BC in internal medicine or in final year of ACGME-Accredited program leading to board eligibility in internal medicine.
