Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

FT evening/night positions available Mon-Fri 10-hour shifts, no call

Join our team for an exciting opportunity to work in a newly formed 23hour unit in Interventional Radiology recovery that provides care to a wide variety of patients before and after interventional procedures and patient's requiring a 23 hour stay. Our dynamic team is seeking motivated and flexible nurses interested in caring for patients requiring pre-procedure and post procedure needs, as well as ongoing assessments during their short stay. Candidates will work collaboratively to optimize the patient to ensure a safe and positive experience from admission to discharge. Supervision of LPN and ambulatory tech as assigned. ACLS certification is required this setting. 1-2 years medical/surgical experience preferred.
