Reporting to the VP, Commercial, this role is responsible for leveraging all customer interfacing teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service & Sales Operations incl warranty service; Duro-Guard products business) to drive top-line growth, margin expansion, and market leadership for all products & systems within the BU portfolio. Role will be based on our Duro-Last brand. This individual will lead and accelerate cross-selling within HBE BUs and with the Holcim Cement/ACM teams in North America, driving value with system sales. This person will drive growth in selected key accounts, channels and vertical markets, working collaboratively with a high level of communication across the business. This leadership role will be responsible for developing their team, driving engagement and building out a successful bench for the future.
ABOUT THE ROLE/WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Set and achieve aggressive growth targets for Sales teams
Provide leadership to Regional Sales leaders and Sales Representatives in the field
Identify opportunities and build the commercial strategy required to grow in existing and new vertical markets with Holcim product lines.
Develop/have a deep understanding of the full Duro-Last product portfolio as well as manufacturing, and R&D capabilities. Work with Marketing teams to create streamlined materials that highlight our broad offering.
Collaborate with product management/ VP Technology to develop and drive new product pipelines and provide feedback regarding opportunities, customer needs and competitive products.
Develop and execute a strategy to drive specifications.
Establish self/team as key relationship manager for key accounts (owners/contractors/customers) and distributors representing all business lines.
Develop reporting tools that document growth and success of efforts.
Work with the government affairs team to identify and drive opportunities for our solutions through government programs and/or grants.
Work with product management and marketing to develop the marketing tools needed for cross selling.
Possess and model high drive for developing internal business partnerships.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues in a clear and concise format (PowerPoint or similar).
Exceptional leadership abilities and experience in people management
Experience and ability to work in a matrix organization, build strong relationships and lead through impact and influence.
Ability to perform financial modeling and build business cases.
Business manager mindset with drive for continuous improvement and growth
Strategic thinker with ability to adapt to fast paced and changing environments and work effectively across all business lines.
Ability to lead and develop teams and future leaders with emphasis on formalizing development plans for high-potential performers in areas of direct responsibility
Strong knowledge of commercial building industry a plus
Preferred Educational and/or Work Experience:
10+ years in Professional Experience Required
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Deep knowledge of the construction industry, the stakeholders and markets.
8+ years B2B / building products, manufacturing industry experience preferred
