Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: MRI Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 4x10-Hour
Hours per Shift: 20:30 - 07:00
Experience: Minimum of 1 Year
License: Appropriate state or compact license required at time of start
Certifications: BLS, ARRT
Must-Have: Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE
Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be negotiated onsite.
Any call offs or additional RTO on unit may lead to cancellation and non-renewal.
Shift is Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Travelers with experience in chest imaging and image post-processing are preferred.
Contract staff must be available for work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters.
Contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed during their contract.
Hospital orientation is required within the first week.
Scrubs are royal blue.
Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
Experience with patient groups including neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, adults, and geriatrics is required.
Familiarity with GE and Siemens equipment systems is required.
Unit orientation is scheduled from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Candidates should be comfortable with floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital based on skills and census.
Charting experience with Epic is most common and preferred.
Travel pairs are allowed but must work on different units.
Fatigue policy does not allow working more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week.
Pre-start and annual completion of modules is required, with hours varying by specialty.
