Job Description

As the Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for maintaining the books and records for Aramark corporate accounts. This position will report to the Director - Financial Reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain the books and records for Aramark corporate accounts, including debt, derivatives, equity, share-based compensation, and leases
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial reports and internal control requirements
  • Prepare and review lease reporting journal entries
  • Preparation and review of financial reports, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Partner with Corporate, Line of Business and International accounting leadership
  • Interacting and coordinating with personnel in various corporate functional areas, business areas, and other internal and external personnel (including independent auditors and external specialists) to support transactions


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/MBA Preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience with "Big 4" Accounting firm or industry related experience
  • Experience with Oracle GL and HFM Preferred
  • Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and accounting theory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Executive presence; ability to work effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, utilizing strong written and oral communications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a wide range of audiences including clients, front line managers, C-level leaders (headquarters and sector)
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
