Designs, develops, tests, deploys, maintains, and improves the customer-facing software solutions by leveraging test automation tools and frameworks, AngularJS/ReactJS, Node.js, and HTML. Builds, debugs, tests and supports web applications. Deploys applications in a DevOps environment using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and practices including Jenkins, Jira, Stash GitHub, Ansible, and Docker. Designs reliable, accurate tests, and integrates them into CI/CD pipelines. Designs and develops automation harnesses using Selenium, Protractor, or Robot Framework. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing test frameworks for Web, Android, iOS Apps, and backend Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in a financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing test frameworks for Web, Android, iOS Apps, and backend Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in a financial services environment.

- Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
- Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
- Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
- Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
- Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
- Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
- Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
- Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
- Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
- Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
Education and Experience:

Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
- Demonstrated expertise ("DE") building and deploying scalable frameworks and test suites for mainframe, native Android, iOS Apps, and backend APIs using Appium, Selenium, XCTest, and Rest Assured in Java, JavaScript, and Swift.
- DE creating and executing SQL queries against information hosted on databases (PostgreSQL and Oracle) and Mainframes; and testing the interaction between distributed applications and their data sources.
- DE maintaining distributed applications with Continuous Integration and CI/CD pipelines using DevOps technologies -- GitHub, Artifactory, and Jenkins; and monitoring customer facing applications using Splunk and DataDog.
- DE verifying and validating User Interfaces (UI), Microservices Architecture, Restful APIs and enterprise messaging - Kafka; identifying opportunities for automation, performing effort estimation and calculating and presenting the return on investment; developing automation test scenarios in Gherkin based on Behavioral Driven Development (BDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), and using Xray for Test Data Management (TDM), test scenario, and test plan tracking.
