We're looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our Friends and Community Team. A high-impact part of the business with strategic importance in our 2025 ambitions. This role will support delivery and team effectiveness while championing alignment, operational excellence, and agile ways of working. You'll partner closely with Team Leads, Product & Engineering and stakeholders across the business to ensure the team is set up for success and strategic initiatives move forward with clarity and pace.

What You'll Do
- Drive delivery and operational excellence
- Support the day-to-day execution of complex, cross-functional program ensuring teams remain aligned and focused on delivering outcomes that matter.
- Create and maintain clear delivery plans, timelines, and communication rhythms across product and tech, surfacing progress, blockers, and risks early.
- Strengthen visibility and coordination across teams and stakeholders, driving alignment and shared accountability for outcomes.
- Facilitate and support the planning process with leadership, ensuring clear priorities, realistic timelines, and alignment with business goals.
- Champion minimal viable process - ensuring teams have the right level of structure and guardrails without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Enabling strategic change
- Operate as a trusted partner to leadership, helping translate strategy into actionable plans.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and organizational challenges that may impact delivery - creating visibility and facilitating resolution.
- Support the evolution of how we operate as an organization by helping shape processes, structure, and ways of working that improve how we plan, align, and execute.
- Help prioritize initiatives in line with strategic importance, capacity, and cross-functional interdependencies.
- Advocating for agility and continuous improvement
- Act as an advocate for Agile values and principles, supporting teams to adopt and embed them in meaningful, pragmatic ways.
- Encourage a culture of experimentation, learning, and psychological safety-where "good failure" is embraced as part of innovation.
- Guide teams in applying Agile practices to planning, delivery, and collaboration - tailoring approaches to suit the nature of the work.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to align on one shared roadmap, vision, and rhythm - bringing together perspectives across disciplines.
- Support leadership in embedding a more iterative, adaptive, and feedback-driven culture across all levels of the organization.
- Creating consistency and embedding best practice
- Support the development and roll-out of playbooks, templates, and tools to drive consistency across the org, while leaving space for flexibility.
- Help establish clear operating rhythms and planning cadences that work across different types of teams and initiatives.
- Create visibility of delivery health, risk, and outcomes through data and metrics, helping teams and stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Contribute to the continual evolution of our program practice - refining our approaches as the organization scales and matures.
Required Experience & Skills
- 4-6+ years of experience in programme or delivery management in agile, cross-functional environments.
- Proven success in delivering complex projects or programmes with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Skilled in project planning, tracking, and documentation - across tools like Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar.
- Comfortable owning planning rhythms and supporting team prioritisation in high-change, fast-moving contexts.
- Experienced in aligning senior leaders around roadmaps, goals, OKRs, and team delivery plans.
- A calm, organised, and adaptable communicator who thrives in ambiguity and brings structure and momentum to the table
