SUMMARY

The Manager, Information Technology - Marketing Communications performs the role of business partner by understanding the business process, identifying opportunities in technology and creating resolutions to business challenges. Additionally, the role provides for on-going support of all mission critical applications and infrastructure supporting these systems. This person will drive day-to-day execution, along with helping to shape the strategic roadmap for the functional area and its critical dependencies.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages and develops staff, projects, and IT resources related to our Customer Communications platform
  • Implements multiple technology projects from conception to completion.
  • Develops innovative ideas and business solutions while making recommendations for projects that support corporate goals.
  • Ensures each system is operating at 100% of its scheduled availability.
  • Budgets and plans for all future resource requirements.
  • Manages outages to include communicating them on a timely basis to appropriate team members, senior level managers and stakeholders.
  • Manages the complete functional to technical solutions life cycle.
  • Plans, communicates and implements all aspects of the project.
  • Provides consultative direction for the evaluation and deployment of technical solutions to business requirements.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Defines and manages both the scope & change management aspects of projects. Ensures the documentation of changes that impact project plan and budget.
  • Communicates project status to project stakeholders for approval.
  • Identifies, analyzes, manages project related risks and responds appropriately to meet requirements.
  • Initiates and disseminates information in a timely fashion at the appropriate level of detail for the target audience.
  • Escalates issues and vulnerabilities to appropriate senior managers and stakeholders.
  • Develops and manages a budget of approximately $1-4 million.

REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrates leadership skills that include taking initiative, motivating, mentoring, relating to others, taking ownership, meeting deadlines. Exhibits positive attitude and superior ethics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to organize resources & prioritize assignments with advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working independently, a self-starter who performs initiatives that provide solutions for business requirements.
  • Develops and manages to project plans, forecasts & budgets. Presents data clearly, concisely and accurately.
  • Analyzes and reports to senior management on project plan, budgets, and projections.
  • Proven ability to lead with on-site as well as virtual teams.
  • Applies best-practices and business processes to support organizational goals.
  • Ability to interact effectively with vendors as well as with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • 5+ years supporting Marketing Technology platforms.
  • 5+ years supporting SaaS platforms and working directly with software providers.
  • Experience with data platforms (preferably customer data).
  • Experience with customer segmentation and analytics.
  • Experience with Omnichannel communications.
  • Experience with Customer Journey orchestration.
  • Experience with Adobe Campaign, Hubspot, SF Marketing Cloud or similar product required.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud preferred but not mandatory.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)
  • Required Travel: 10%-20%
  • Physical Demands: Occasionally lifts and moves computing equipment up to 75 lbs.
  • Internal Work Environment: Office and remote facilities; Prolonged sitting at desk and computer


COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $114800 - 160000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
