As a Data Scientist III on the Data and Customer Analytics team, you will develop, deploy, and optimize advanced data science and AI solutions that drive business impact across multiple merchant, catalog, and assortment touchpoints. You will contribute to enhancing the merchant, catalog, and assortment experience by leveraging data to solve complex business problems and improve operational efficiencies.
This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Director of Data Science, and it requires working onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas. A full relocation package is available; remote work is not an option.

What you'll do:
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to enhance customer experience.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data science
What you'll bring...
- Experience in building highly scalable Big Data solutions and ETL ecosystems.
- Proficiency with Hadoop, Spark, Cloud, Python/PySpark, Java, Streaming, Kafka, and backend technologies.
- Experience utilizing public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) to deploy scalable ML solutions efficiently.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, Scala) and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn), underpinned by a solid grasp of MLOps practices, including design documentation, testing, and source code management with Git.
