Description:

TIAG is now hiring a Data Analytics/SharePoint Developer to join our team supporting the Navy International Programs Office (NIPO). NIPO is tasked with advancing maritime Partners and Allies in support of U.S. security interests. TIAG is supporting NIPO in the areas of project management, requirements management, development and maintenance of knowledge management tools, and data analytics.

This position is hybrid, reporting onsite 2 days per week at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This position requires an active secret clearance to be considered, so US or Naturalized citizenship is a requirement.

Responsibilities include:
Collaborating on a high-performing SharePoint team to design and develop SharePoint Online site architectures that support business operations, drive collaboration, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Engineer end-to-end data solutions using SharePoint Online, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Apps, integrating multiple data sources to generate real-time dashboards, KPIs, and business insights.
Build data models and implement data transformation logic using Power Query, DAX, and SQL to support advanced analytics and operational reporting.
Design and develop analytical tools and predictive models to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide strategic insights to leadership.
Apply data science techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, classification, and natural language processing (NLP) to large structured and unstructured datasets.
Utilize APIs, data connectors, and custom scripts to automate data extraction, cleaning, and transformation processes from SharePoint lists, databases, and external systems.
Lead the development of intuitive, visual reports and self-service dashboards in Power BI, enhancing decision-making across the organization.
Serve as a technical resource for data governance, metadata strategies, data quality controls, and compliance within the Navy's Microsoft 365 secure environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical needs, develop prototypes, and iterate solutions aligned with organizational KPIs and performance indicators.
Train site owners and end-users in SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 tools, promoting adoption of analytics and knowledge-sharing best practices.
Support contract reporting obligations by synthesizing and presenting operational and performance metrics in clear, actionable formats to NIPO leadership.

Required Experience:
U.S. Citizen with an active DOD Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related discipline. Minimum 8 years of applicable experience, including 5+ years in SharePoint development. Candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree.
Strong foundation in data analytics and data science, including experience with data modeling, data mining, statistical computing, and machine learning methods (e.g., LLMs, neural networks, NLP, clustering, and predictive analytics).
Experience working with large data sets, ETL processes, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, and scripting in Python or R for analytics and automation.
Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or other cloud-based data integration platforms is a plus.
Proficient in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JSON formatting, REST APIs, Graph API, and client-side development technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS).
Demonstrated ability to apply analytical techniques to real-world operational challenges, with clear documentation and communication of findings.
Knowledge of metadata strategy, data classification, and Microsoft 365 content management best practices.
Strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and customer service skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Prior experience working with the Department of Defense or U.S. Navy is strongly preferred.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $140,000 per year
