About the role
As Senior Manager of Clinical Operations, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling our care delivery model, ensuring it aligns with clinical evidence, operational efficiency, and the needs of our patients and care teams. Reporting to the VP of Clinical Operations, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Clinical teams to lead initiatives that improve care delivery, support clinical operations, and launch new service lines and markets. This role will require strong analytical thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and a hands-on approach to both strategy and execution.

What you'll do
Within your first 3 months:
- Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Associate to synthesize data (quantitative and qualitative) into actionable insights.
- Partner with the care team to conduct observations and gather feedback on pain points and opportunities for process improvement.
- Begin supporting exploratory modeling efforts comparing home-based care vs. virtual team care.
- Start scoping requirements for major strategic initiatives, including Certificate of Need assessments.
- Contribute to preparations for meetings with health plan and provider partners, including content creation for decks and meetings.
Within your first 6 months:
- Lead initial modeling work to assess the effectiveness of our care model against published evidence-based benchmarks.
- Launch and begin implementing new markets and providers in collaboration with the clinical and product teams.
- Take ownership of at least one programmatic performance area (e.g., homecare or collaborative care programs), assessing performance across regions and identifying areas for improvement.
- Project manage a large-scale initiative from definition to execution-such as Certificate of Need applications or a home-based care expansion plan.
- Develop process improvement plans and propose changes to the care model based on team feedback and field insights.
Within your first year:
- Fully own the development and execution of major strategic clinical operations initiatives.
- Establish and iterate on key performance metrics for your assigned programs.
- Work cross-functionally to design, test, and implement process or product improvements that elevate both the patient and provider experience.
- Drive internal alignment on care model evolution and strategic scaling opportunities.
- Act as a strategic thought partner on new growth initiatives or emerging models of care.
- Experience. You have 7-10 years of progressive experience in clinical operations with experience at value based organizations healthcare services or healthcare delivery. You've helped to scale clinical service models within startups.
- Strong analytical skills. You have the ability to synthesize data into insights that improve operations and strategy. You can assess systems, identify opportunities, and connect operational tactics to broader goals.
- Curiosity and humility. You areopen to learning from clinicians, patients, and team members alike. You thrive in cross-functional work and value collective problem-solving.
- Accountable. You take initiative and see projects through from concept to implementation. You also can scope, lead, and execute multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Biased to action. You know how to identify and prioritize your initiatives and ensure that urgent and important tasks always get done. You roll up your sleeves and can both build your function from the ground up and coach others to success as they join the team.
- Comfort with ambiguity. You have a proven track record of success within scaling businesses, fast-paced environments, and startups. You understand that rapid changes to the business, strategy, and organization are part of the reality of a startup.
