Department Overview

The Investor Partners Group ("IPG") is a 150-person department dedicated to developing and nurturing investor client relationships. IPG integrates new business development, client service, product specialists and product development to create a Gold Standard investor client experience.

Position Responsibilities

This individual will work closely with the COO Team to identify and tackle business challenges, partner on new opportunities and help expand business capabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Acting as an additional point of contact for critical projects, collaborating with other departments and overseeing governance and supervisory framework (e.g., international business expansion, new business builds and existing business expansion)
  • Assisting with creating business plans, budget forecasts and resourcing plans, including quarterly, annual and 3-year plans
  • Working with COO Team to ensure all projects are clearly defined, prioritized, planned and completed on time, on budget and with excellent quality
  • Working with Strategic Accounting and Finance Team to develop and manage key financial metrics and reporting for the Investor Partners Group and its sub-departments
  • Preparing presentations, analyses and recommendations for senior management
  • Working with internal partners to enhance existing processes and identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of new business lines
  • Providing leverage to the IPG departments overall and specifically the COO Team of IPG
  • Becoming an expert on Golub Capital, the direct lending sector and the asset management industry; gathering information related to market intelligence and industry trends
  • Keeping abreast of industry best practices and how those might be implemented at Golub Capital


Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA and / or CFA a plus
  • 4+ years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, investment management firm, or strategic consulting firm
  • Financial services and / or asset management industry experience preferred
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills required
  • High level of intellectual curiosity with a desire to develop and implement innovative solutions to sophisticated business challenges
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Adept at interacting with senior executives, department heads and external partners
  • Demonstrated experience in working with high-performing teams; ability to establish relationships and work effectively with a variety of business partners
  • Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, set priorities, multitask and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture

Compensation and Benefits
For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $165,000 to $195,000 for Assistant Vice President and $135,000 to $165,000 for Senior Associate. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
