Job Summary
As a key member of the Innovation team, the Chemist plays a critical role in supporting new product development and process scale-up. Working under the guidance of a Senior Scientist or R&D leadership, the Chemist is responsible for developing and optimizing chemical processes, focusing on sustainable and reproducible production methods. This role requires strong technical acumen, attention to detail, adherence to good laboratory practices, and commitment to safety regulations.

This role requires strong technical acumen, attention to detail, adherence to good laboratory practices, and commitment to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain deep technical knowledge in organic and organometallic chemistry.
- Collaborate with the internal innovation team to formulate and execute project concepts.
- Perform hands-on chemical synthesis, catalysis, and organometallic chemistry experiments.
- Validate technical prototypes through structured testing and documentation.
- Accurately document research activities and maintain organized lab records.
- Support product launches and provide post-launch technical follow-up.
- Develop sustainable and scalable chemical processes for production.
- Transfer validated processes to production teams and offer technical support as needed.
- Conduct technical training for production personnel.
- Partner with cross-functional departments including Safety, Quality, Sales, and Marketing to facilitate the introduction of new products and processes.
- Act as a technical liaison between R&D and other technical or production teams.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in chemistry R&D or chemical manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with chemical synthesis, catalysis, organometallics, and ligand synthesis
- Familiarity with catalysis screening applications
Certifications (if any)
- No specific certifications required, though relevant chemical safety training or industry-recognized laboratory certifications are a plus.
