Description:
We're seeking an exceptional bar raising Senior UX Designer to help shape the future of Amazon Prime. You will raise the bar for our customer experience while driving innovative designs that will impact hundreds of millions of Prime customers daily. You'll be responsible for crafting seamless, intuitive experiences that represent "Beautility", are beautiful, intuitive and performant for the business. Ultimately, your contributions will strengthen Prime's value proposition and enhance member benefits across shopping, entertainment, and digital services worldwide.
A day in the life
* Lead end-to-end design strategy for complex, high-impact Prime initiatives from conception through launch
* Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the design vision for next-generation Prime experiences
* Drive customer-centric innovation through deep understanding of member needs, behaviors, and pain points
* Develop sophisticated interaction models, workflows, and prototypes that set new standards for usability
* Mentor other designers and elevate the overall quality of design execution across teams
* Champion data-informed design decisions while maintaining relentless customer focus
* Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Research, and Business teams
* Contribute to design systems and patterns that enable consistent, scalable experiences

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of design experience
- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
- Experience designing customer facing retail products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
- Experience with hands-on visual design
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
