Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Tax Senior in Seattle, WA.

Work You'll Do

Align global effective tax rate reduction and efficient global cash utilization with overall business strategy. Help multinational clients integrate tax planning into their overall business strategy and comply with both U.S. and international regulatory requirements. Conduct a review of international compliance, calculation, research, consulting, and planning issues. Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations. Coordinate U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy. Review the process notes, transaction slide decks, and documentation related to international consulting, including international calculations and research. Will commute within the Seattle, Washington area to consult with clients concerning the above job duties.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
  • Eighteen months of experience as a Tax Senior or related occupation gaining experience performing tax planning, reporting and compliance for U.S. multinational corporations.
  • Experience must include eighteen months of:
    • preparing and reviewing U.S. and international compliance filings, including Forms 1120-F, 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 1118, 5713, 8990, 8991,8992, and 8993 and related disclosures, using Gosystem, CCH, and CorpTax
    • preparing and reviewing E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, FTC, and FDII calculations for tax compliance purposes
    • analyzing tax law changes, proposed legislation, and other tax related developments
    • preparing and reviewing IRC section 861 expense allocation and apportionment calculations
    • assisting with tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate initiatives
    • providing tax consultation services to clients, including strategic acquisition, dispositions, mergers & acquisitions, and/or divestitures
    • identifying and proposing tax planning opportunities to clients by analyzing client data
    • mentoring and coaching junior team member
  • Less than 10% domestic travel required outside of commuting distance.
  • Salary: $90,020.00/year - $167,180.00/year
