SALARY RANGE: $177,736 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
Responsibilities
Nokia of America Corporation, Solution Architect (Multiple Positions), Murray Hill, NJ. Develop and provide input to develop unique customer architecture, and contribute to overall technical solution Design. Design and execute integration, operations or performance solutions in customer projects. Influence technical mind-set of the customer during sales process and work as part of a bid team, coordinating the technical part of a bid. Support main customer consultant in solution team. Ensure customer requirements are accurately represented and present solution architecture and design to customer for verification while making required adaptations. Provide a complete subscriber database management solutioning and architectural design that includes dimensioning of various SDM Cloud-based servers, deployment of SDM servers and integrate it in different operator networks of 2G/3G/4GVOLTE & 5G networks in customer network, based on operator network solutioning requirements. The Solution Architect will also be responsible for architectural design of developing green field SDM-Cloud based solution, upgrading of SDM solution to different software versions, expansion of network and migration of existing subscriber traffic from bare-metal hardware to cloud-based platform along-with performing relevant technical and customer specific database solutioning. #LI-DNI
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Mobile Network, including 2G, 3G and 4G; Solution Design Creation for SDM products; Solution Deployment and Solution Architecture Creation support; Operating System: Linux or Solaris; Networking troubleshooting using Wireshark; and Virtualization: VMWare or Open stack.
Domestic travel up to 50% required.
International travel up to 50% required.
Telecommuting may be permitted up to 100% anywhere in the US.
