Description:
As the Director of Marketing, you will lead all marketing initiatives, overseeing product launches, brand strategy, digital campaigns, and event planning for Demant's operations in Canada. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute strategic marketing programs for Demant's four major hearing health and diagnostics brands-Oticon, Bernafon, Philips, and Diatec-with a strong focus on B2B and B2B2C initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the marketing budget and contributing to the revenue and market share goals of the company.
This role requires a strong background in strategic marketing, leadership, and digital demand generation, along with the ability to collaborate across departments to drive business growth.

Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 6-8 marketing professionals, fostering a high-performing culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Develop a yearly marketing plan and manage budgets for product launches and events.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for Oticon, Bernafon, Philips, and Diatec, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute product launches, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
- Plan and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns focusing on demand creation, capture, and conversion.
- Coordinate 30+ events annually, including product launches, trade shows, and training sessions, strengthening market presence and client relationships.
- Support the development of our Learning Management Platform (LMS), driving education and engagement.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring that vendors deliver quality services and products.
- Manage the Company's corporate and brand image, trademarks, and identity for all Demant brands and maintaining the corporate visual identity through coordination of website and social media content.
- Develop and implement client marketing programs aimed at supporting and growing independent hearing clinics in Canada.
- Oversee the product lifecycle for Demant's hearing health brands, from product development and launch to market maturity and phase-out.
- Monitor and report on the success of product launches and events, including tracking key performance indicators and making recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices and competitive insights for product launch coordination and event planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing management, with a focus on leadership, coordination, and event planning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and inspire team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
- Ability to create and maintain a positive team culture and work environment, promoting collaboration, accountability, and trust.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record of successfully launching products and planning events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and external vendors and drive decisions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Experience with budget management and forecasting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing automation software
- Ability to travel as needed for events and product launches.
