Here's the scoop - Summary

Champion Petfoods is seeking an experienced, transformative, and energetic Senior Global Digital Commerce Manager to lead our global digital commerce vision and strategy. This role will be responsible for defining frameworks and best practices, building capabilities, and driving expansion efforts to accelerate our digital commerce growth worldwide.

You will leverage digital technologies, data analytics, and innovative solutions to enhance consumer engagement, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth. Additionally, you will lead internal global communities to gather insights, track business performance, drive key transformation initiatives, and foster knowledge sharing.

They bring visionary leadership, a deep understanding of the global digital marketplace, and a proven ability to drive data-driven marketing initiatives. What a typical day looks like
  • Strategic Leadership - Define and lead the Global Digital Commerce vision, strategy, and roadmap, encompassing retailer media, digital shelf optimization, portfolio & channel strategy, and a structured learning agenda. Ensure consistency and scalability across markets.
  • Market Expansion - Accelerate digital commerce growth by identifying and optimizing new and existing channel opportunities, driving effective market/customer launches, and enhancing digital sales performance.
  • Market Enablement - Act as the global Center of Excellence (COE) by equipping regional teams with strategies and tools for best-in-class digital merchandising, high-impact onsite/offsite campaigns, and standardized global reporting.
  • Innovation & Transformation - Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies, implementing global best practices to streamline operations, enhance customer experiences, and optimize performance. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Capability Building - Identify, prioritize, and deploy critical digital commerce capabilities, including technology solutions, process improvements, and automation, to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Performance & Insights - Leverage data analytics to measure success, identify performance gaps, and drive data-driven decision-making to continuously optimize digital commerce execution.
  • Vendor & Partner Management - Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with digital technology providers, agencies, and external partners, ensuring high-quality solutions and seamless integration.
  • Global Connectivity - Serve as the primary link between regional teams, marketing, IT, and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and seamless execution. Actively engage with the global Mars Digital Commerce community to engage in enterprise transformation efforts and drive connectivity.

What you'll bring
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in global digital commerce, e-commerce strategy, or a similar leadership role within a multinational organization.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing visions and strategies with the ability to inspire and led a team/matrix organization to deliver business results consistently
  • Strong knowledge of digital commerce platforms, omnichannel strategies, and global market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement scalable frameworks that drive business growth.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret complex insights and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence and align cross-functional teams across diverse regions and markets.
  • Passion for leveraging technology and digital transformation to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.
  • International experience in different geographies, working across cultures, different markets, prior experience in managing different trade development and structures
  • Experience managing agency relationships and governance.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed abov, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position mayalso include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
