E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a System Administrator (ISSO) to join our team in Fort Shafter, HI in support of the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Theater Army Campaign Support (TACS). TACS is responsible for the integration, automation, and interoperability of intelligence and MDO across the USARPAC AOR. USARPAC and its operational partners require professional services in support of various intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics solutions on an enterprise scale. This effort provides subject matter expertise to contribute to organizational agility in a collaborative national security environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues
- Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring operating system software and hardware
- Ensuring that all the organization's information systems and networks are in line with industry regulations and standards.
- Applying cyber security standards including DISA STIGs, RMF security controls, and Customer policies and procedures to computing systems
- Conducting risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
- Conducting continuous monitoring of information systems and networks.
- Performing system backups and recovery
- Developing security policies that are customized to the specific environment of the organization.
- Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for conducting server host and virtual machine builds on prem and cloud environments.
- Providing Systems Administrator support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for computer systems.
- Maintaining file structures, SharePoint, and Knowledge Management systems.
- Troubleshooting and documenting systems anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
- Installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting unified communications (VoIP Phones, DVTC, VTC).
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 18+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.?
- CompTIA Security+ and/or DoD 8570-compliant IAT Level II Certification
- 5+ years of experience in system administration, network administration, or a related role
- Experience providing technical support to end users: monitoring system performance, troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues, optimizing network performance, managing system backups and recovery processes, and implementing necessary upgrades and patches
- Ability to install, configure, administer, manage, and maintain network infrastructure (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and Windows physical and virtual server environments/operating systems
- Experience with managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems, networks, and applications: including creating, enabling, provisioning and deactivating user accounts
- A strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network configuration.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.?
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.?
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Network+, or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification(s)
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community or a DoD, Army, or Joint Staff classified program
- Experience as a U.S. Army Information Management Officer and/or coordinating across multiple organizations including Signal Brigades, Army offices, INSCOM, DoD CIO, DIA, GISA, NEC
- Experience with unified communications (VoIP Phones, DVTC, VTC) installation, configuration, and management
- Familiarity with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS)
- Ability to assist in planning and executing IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or new technology deployments
- Experience with Kanban, Agile, or project management applications and methodologies
