Job Title: Cloud Backend Engineering Architect
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Backend Engineering Architect with over 10 years of experience in public cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform) to design, build, and optimize backend services and APIs. You will play a crucial role in leading architectural decisions, developing scalable cloud-native applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and Develop Cloud Solutions:
    • Lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud-native applications and backend systems using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
    • Build robust APIs, extensions, and microservices using Go, Java, Python, or NodeJS.
    • Implement RESTful and gRPC services aligned with modern development practices.
  • Infrastructure and Security:
    • Configure, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Kubernetes (GKE, K3S) and secure it with TLS/MTLS, Keycloak, and AAA principles.
    • Oversee installation, configuration, and patching of application servers and analytics systems.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Estimate project scope, define technical requirements, and contribute to project planning and execution.
    • Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, and other Engineers.
    • Author, review, and maintain technical documentation, architecture blueprints, and design specifications.
    • Conduct peer reviews and mentor junior developers and engineers.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud-native development, specifically on Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure).
  • Proficient in programming with Go, Java, Python, or NodeJS.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GKE, or K3S, and cloud orchestration.
  • Deep understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks, TLS/MTLS, and identity management tools like Keycloak.
  • Solid knowledge of event-driven systems, analytics components, and modern integration patterns.
  • Experience in Agile software development and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills, both written and verbal.


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in high-scale, production-grade systems in domains such as fintech, healthcare, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
