We are seeking a leader to join Mission Systems as the Senior Manager, Program Finance & Control (PF&C). This position will be onsite in our Richardson, TX or Cedar Rapids, IA location. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication, analytical, and collaborative skills that enjoys working with cross-functional teams in the Finance, Contracts, Program Management, Operations, Engineering, and Business Development/Strategy. The ideal candidate would develop a team to provide program(s) and product line(s) with earned value and schedule data for the program team to measure/make informed decisions.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for workforce onsite, hybrid and remote
- Develop talent through a collaborative assessment of current knowledge, skills, and abilities and an actionable plan to achieve training, personal growth, and opportunities
- Establish individual development plans with quarterly reviews for every employee in your department
- Mentor and coach your team through visible engagement
- Familiarize and strengthen relationships with other functions/teams (Contracts, PF&C, Engineering, Operations, Controllership, Business Development)
- Ensure all earned value metrics are in accordance with the Collins System Description, NDIA 32 Guidelines, and Statutory requirements
- Ensure all schedule and health metrics are in accordance with the Collins System Description, PASEG, and Statutory requirements
- Support internal and external audit for controls and compliance adherence
- Owner of the Developmental Contract Financial Obligations
- Responsible for the development of an annual plan & quarterly forecast on Developmental programs inclusive of Profit & Loss / Balance Sheet
- Responsible for the communication/reporting of program(s) results to leadership
- Develop, implement, and understand EVMS/Financial tools and systems
- Participate in annual review of process maps and Collins Management Initiative
- Participate or assign delegates for CORE events
- Develop and support bids and basis of estimates.
- Travel up to 10%
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
- Must be able to obtain a DOD clearance.
- Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience.
- Experience leading and/or mentoring a team.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Microsoft Office including extensive experience in Excel
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Earned Value Cost Engines/Software
- Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Understanding of corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven experience presenting to large groups and leadership
- Capability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
