What You'll Do
- Build professional relationships within the hospital to bridge the multidisciplinary care for patients in the hospital setting.
- Work closely with a collaborating physician to improve the decision-making process for patients in the outpatient clinic.
- Conduct assessments, interpret diagnostics, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Manage acute and long-term oncology care, including treatment monitoring and patient education.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and mentor healthcare professionals.
- Support protocol development, quality improvement, and outcome tracking.
What We're Looking For
- Education: MSN (preferred) & accredited NP program completion.
- Experience: 2+ years in oncology nursing or comparable NP internship preferred.
- License: Active RN & NP certification in Indiana with prescriptive authority (or within 6 months).
- Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) certification or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred to help maintain current Commission on Cancer accreditation.
- Driven individuals who have a passion and desire to take Oncology practices to the next level.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, EMR proficiency, and excellent communication.
