Pediatric Hospitalist Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center
Penn State Health St Joseph Medical Center of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Hospitalist.
- Join a group of 3 other dedicated pediatricians
- Coverage for Level 1 Newborn Nursery, Inpatient General Pediatric patients, and ED consults.
- Level 2 NICU on site with 24/7 coverage by neonatologists/NNPs
- Community Hospital within a larger health system that has support of Children's Hospital
- Shifts include daytime rounding at the hospital and overnight home call
- Teaching hospital with a family medicine residency program and medical students
What we're seeking:
- BC/BE in General Pediatrics. Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine experience preferred, certification not required.
- MD, D.O., or foreign equivalent
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Participation in teaching and engagement with division's quality improvement
