We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the design, integration, delivery, and operational support of applications or services and development operations (DevOps) in WHDH, through automation and/or infrastructure as code. The incumbent will provide advanced and varied consultation on infrastructure, anticipate issues and devise resolution methodology. In addition, the incumbent will provide non-routine maintenance and long-term assistance to ensure subsystems and infrastructure function together and business needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and stable Azure infrastructure solutions.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery or deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate tasks through scripting and other appropriate tools.
- Ensure security and compliance with Azure policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize application performance.
- Monitor systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement solutions proactively.
- Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Plan disaster recovery measures and maintain data storage security in Azure.
Responsibilities: Serves as a technical lead in the design, integration, delivery, and provides advanced and varied consultation, project management, and operational support of applications or services, development operations (DevOps), through automation and/or infrastructure as code. Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 4 years working as a DevOps Engineer in public cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience specifically with Azure services, demonstrating the ability to select, configure, and connect Azure services to create comprehensive solutions, leading the implementation of these services.
- Minimum of 4 years professional experience, and proficiency, in automation, configuration management, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, ARM templates)
- Experience implementing virtual networking resources in Azure, including VNET peering, private DNS zones, and private endpoints (or the AWS/GCP equivalent)
- Experience implementing and supporting app services in a cloud environment, e.g. function apps or web app
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Azure DevOps Engineer certification.
- Strong capability to select, configure, and integrate Azure services to deliver effective solutions for Java-based applications
- Experience in deploying, supporting, and/or utilizing at least one of the following: ETL and Data Engineering pipeline (Azure Data Factory or Airflow), Data Analytics (Azure Synapse), Data Visualization (Power BI)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience implementing services supporting Java-based web applications in a cloud environment
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
