Job Description
The communications system is a mission-critical aviation communications network where protocols and high availability are integral to the software development. Development of our products entails customer requirements elicitation, system design, software design, development followed by unit and integration testing, and finally formal acceptance testing. From system requirements, the successful candidate will create a software design and develop code to meet the planned schedule. All work follows established CMMI work procedures and adheres to coding standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/hr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software of high complexity according to CMMI level 3 processes and procedures.
- Participate in the engineering and development of systems and software for the communications system utilized in worldwide aviation communications.
- Perform unit and integration testing to prove the correct functionality.
- Proficiency in C and Python.
- Experience with Linux.
- Knowledge of AWS.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- STEM degree.
- Experience in developing, testing, and deploying software.
- Familiarity with CMMI processes.
- Experience in data communications.
- Knowledge of communication systems.
- Application development experience.
